The Creekside Art Festival

an annual out door show, sale and competition held in the historic Gaslight Village of Wyoming,

August  2011  11am - 4pm

General admission is free.

This event is offered to Fine Artists, and is an opportunity to show and sell work in a historic and creative setting. The event is held on the front lawn of the Wyoming Village Hall. Prizes offered for 2D pieces that depict a slice of life in the historic Gaslight Village of Wyoming and Town of Middlebury, Wyoming County New York. Artists must register to reserve space. $35.00 registration fee includes lunch. To enter the Competition is optional.

Categories for competition:

  • Watercolor,
  • Oils/Acrylics/pastels,
  • Misc.

1st 2nd 3rd place cash prize Awarded for:

  • Originality
  • Quality
  • Degree of Difficulty

  • Eye Appeal

  • Them of Show 
  • Space is limited, first come first serve.
  • $35.00 registration fee includes hotdog or hamburger and beverage.

  • Entries must not be more then 12 months old.

  • All entries for competition must be registered by 12 noon the day of

  • Limit of up to three pieces per artists.

  • Judging begins 2pm sharp.

  • Prizes awarded at 3pm.   

Plein air painters welcome at any time through out the year, through out the Village, and are encouraged at the creekside Art Festival and during the entire month of August.
